Going solo

Well I guess this is it. Betty and the kids we'll leave tomorrow morning and I am on my own. Kind of scary but it's  what I've been planning for, over the last year. It will be a lot different walking with a full pack of approximately 32 pounds, compared to the slack pack of 15 pounds that I was carrying Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I had a great day today doing 14.8 miles. Over the 3 days that gives me an average of 9.7 miles per day.
