This is open year round. Thru-hikers have their photo taken for the album and are registered by the # of thru-hiker they are for the year. I am #105 for 2017, the 105th person to come through here this year. It doesn't matter whether you are thru-hiking or hiking the entire trail in sections. You get a # and your picture in the album. With your picture is your name, your trail name, where you are from, your email address, the date you began your hike, and today's date.

Harpers Ferry was beautiful. I stayed in the Tea House Hostel there.
