It's been warm hiking and warm sleeping at night. Last night a raccoon woke us! Then the wind began to blow about 2 am. It was a welcome change. It will be another hot one today, but it will begin to cool off tonight so tomorrow's hike will be easier. Then it's home to my family on Thursday. We will take Golf to get resupplied and Odysseus back to CT with us. We will put him on a plane to Atlanta on Friday so he can be home for the arrival of his first grandchild. Charlie and his family will be up from GA. We will all go to our nephew's wedding in RI this weekend, then celebrate Fathers' Day on Sunday at home. That is, of course, after we attend Ruth's 5th grade graduation on Friday. It will be nice to have Drew, Chris, Charlie and their families all together for a few days. Then it's back on the trail on Tuesday, heading to Katahdin!!!!
